Help!! Can some one tell me what box or bag can I use to ship via (usps) ?? & what usps flat rate envelopes or boxes mean?? & why I can't use those... Which are the ones I need?? #veryconfused

almoen Flat rate boxes can't be used since you have already paid postage. With a flat rate, you have to pay the specified postage rate. You can use priority mail boxes and bags that don't say they are flat rate. You can also just re-use other boxes, like from Amazon, etc.

ccox5 I was confused too, just bring your item to the post office with your printed label and show them a label and tell them you need a priority box or envelope (whichever would fit better) for the item

recyclerestyle I use any of the boxes that best fit the item(s), then I cover it in brown wrapping paper from the dollar store and I finish it with a twine bow to make it look like an old package. The dollar store has fun printed brown paper too! 😊 📦

recyclerestyle Yep! But you have to keep your package under the 3lb weight limit. That is very hard to hit though. I've shipped tall over the knee leather boots in their original box (used brown craft paper over) and they were still within the weight limit. Check the Dollar Tree, the Jot Brown Craft Paper is $1 for a 30" x 15' roll!!

recyclerestyle Of course!! I've been on here awhile and sold many things, I will do my best to answer any questions you have! One main piece of advice for selling successfully here is accurately describing/posting photos and quick shipping. PM posts your average ship time to buyers to see. I made the mistake of taking too long in the past and didn't communicate that with buyers. It resulted in 4 star ratings and a slower ship time posted. Good luck! Lmk if you need anything 😊

rmac108 I use these boxes all the time for posh sales. You can get them for free from usps. The label posh gives you is for priority mail. Just make sure it’s under 5lbs which is what it states on the shipping label you print out. You can also use any box/envelope you want that’s not usps. Amazon boxes are great.
