Are they water proff? And can they stand up to several inch's of snow. My daughter lives up north and get blizzards practly

These boots r actually to die for and i want them lol. Are they true to size? Are you normally a size 8 or 7 1/2? I know with boots and the fur inside when you wear socks you might want a half size bigger. Please let me know?
