Noritake Tree in the Meadow Berry Sugar Shaker & Creamer Pitcher Set

This Fine China Berry Sugar Shaker & Creamer Set by Noritake features a beautiful vintage pattern originally introduced around the 1920s. The pieces are handpainted with a peaceful scene featuring a majestic tree and cottage surrounded by a meadow and a lake. The bucolic scene is presented in warm shades of gold, brown, blue, and gray and accented with 22kt gold trim. The Noritake Japan logo backstamp has an "M" in the wreath which dates the set before 1953. The  two-piece set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The colors are vivid, and the gold accents show no wear. The sugar shaker measures approximately 6-1/2" tall, 2-1/2" wide and has its original cork inserts.  The creamer  measures 8-3/4" tall, 3-1/2" wide from spout to handle, and 2-1/2" deep.
