@gmichelle01 Hi there! This ceramic canister was manufactured in the late 90s/early 2000 and should have been produced without led, as Noritake went 'led-free' in the 70s. It is listed as microwave, dishwasher and oven safe, so I'm guessing it is 'food safe' as I believe these were meant for food storage, i.e. flour, sugar, coffee, etc. Thanks for your question!
