Noritake Blue Lusterware Red Mark Handpainted Made In Japan Cream Sugar * The bottoms of both pieces and the lid are blue lusterware painted over a lavender color, which shows through at places. * There's a pretty dark blue line painted around the rims. * There's a gold and white floral pattern. * The marks are red and say Noritake, Handpainted, Made in Japan around an M inside a laurel wreath. From my limited online research, that dates them to the 1920's. * The creamer measures approx 4.5" tall and about 4" diameter at the widest. The sugar is a little over 4" tall and about 4.5" diameter at the widest (not including the handles). * In pre-owned condition. Both the creamer and body of the sugar have no chips or cracks. The lid to the sugar has a crack. A fair amount of the gold gilt and other decoration has worn down. Please make sure to check out the pictures!
