The original nook. Barnes and Noble’s original Nook, released in November 2009, has a 6 x 3.5 inch screen. The distinctive feature on this Nook is a split screen – a black and white e ink display at the top and a color touch screen at the bottom of the device. Arrow buttons on each side turn pages.
