I tried to hem with hem tape- the kind you iron on- jeans are not damaged at all- but there’s a trace left of the tape which will come off in wash eventually and also where I ironed but can be remedied easily- never worn- not sure why I thoughtt I could fit. I also added the slide fastener back on and added a button - so priced them prettyy low for those reasonss.
