cfc Have you had this authenticated . There are several red flags here for me. The c's don't all line up on the seams like the do on real coach bags, they also fold over into the lining which usually indicates a fake and the plate that says coach on it is does not use the normal stitching pattern or same type of metal normal found on a coach bag. Could you post a pic of the papers that normal come with coach bags so I can authenticate it

charlize @cfc, the serial number should work. You can always check at the coach store and verify it that way. I don't sell fake purses and I don't intend to mix my original ones with fake ones. Anybody that owns a real coach should know what real and fake. Go ahead and go to coach.com and put the serial number and you should have your answer.

cfc 1. If it is a signature piece, the C's will start centered and go out from there. If it is leather, it will feel buttery smooth. 2. The stitching and hardware. The stitching will be tight, even and straight. There should be no loose strands or restitching. Most hardware is stamped Coach, like the snaps or buckles. You may have to really look for the stamp, like on the backs of buckles. The hardware is not cheap looking nor will it peel or crack. 3. The hangtag. It is usually leather, the same color and stitching as the bag itself. The Coach lozenge is raised from the tag, not embedded into it. On my bags, the lozenge is only stamped on one side of the tag.There are a few styles that come with metal hangtags. But, look at the metal hangtags at the link below to see what they look like. Most counterfeit come with cheap, shiny silver hangtags. 4. The lining. Signature bags never have signature lining. 5. The zippers. Coach uses YKK zippers. The logo is usually found on the side of the metal zipper pull. Coach zipper pulls are either leather, the same color/stitching as the bag or a series of metal rings. 5. Unless it is a small piece, like a wristlet, there is a creed and registration number on the inside. It is a leather patch sewn into the lining of the bag. The creed will be written in justified, capital english letters. The abbreviation No. is followed by a letter, then a one or two digit year code. For example, 6 for 1996, 06 for 2006. After the year code is another letter or one or two digits, the a dash. The numbers after the dash are the style number of the bag. If it is a factory store bag, it will either have an F before the style number or a bullseye stamp in one of the upper creed corners. If it were bought through a resale store, like TJ Maxx, there will be an X stamp on the creed. I wasn't trying to be a bitch but as you can see I know my coach bags . I worked in a coach store in college. Several Of these points don't go with the bag you are selling. I was asked by a friend to look at your bag and give my opinion . charlize @cfc, thanks for your authentication but if you don't mind can I get your number so I can call coach factory and ask them if they can call you and tell you why this coach purse is made this way and stuff? I will try to call them tonight too and ask why people always wonder if this purse is real or not, I was never ask on ebay about the authenticity of this one. You think ebay will ask me more than here since ebay has been on business longer than poshmark. I wonder why poshmark never ask me either but mostly the buyers I mean I don't mind being question it's just that it gets old sometimes :) did you see all the code, UPC and serial numbers here? I guess they weren't enough for you to authenticate this one. But anyway, thanks for all the information,I do appreciate them.

cfc I did see them :) seriously was not trying to offend you and I'm sorry if it came across that way. My friend buys bags and resells them and she always has me look at them prior . She has been burned and lost thousands of dollars so I am just trying to be thorough. I am not insinuating yours is fake just trying to gather all info. She really likes your bag and I again am just trying to help.
