@rec129 Don't believe her. She sent me 3 watches which she DID not specify as having dead batteries. The one costs more to replace battery than it's worth!

people you know, you can order a 10 pack of Energizer watch batteries on Amazon for like $10 and Nixon only takes two different sizes out of the five different ones I own. Use a small pair of needle-nose to unscrew the back if it's screwed down and bam your watch works again.
(I too am skeptical buying Nixon watches with dead batteries because I've owned some before and they just died and it wasn't the battery...)

@drjackie thanks for letting us all know. I buy a lot of Nixon watches, & like this as a gift for my mom.
( I bought 2 on poshmart so far and had to switch out the batteries but got lucky I guess? I've also had one that I purchased brand new maybe went through 1 battery or 2, but then just died...I would be damned if I try and sell it on here though; knowing that's not going to work.)
Bummer that she did that to you.
