Does the watch work once the battery is replaced?

@clarkamy54 yes, it should. It’s my own personal watch, and because I had several, I didn’t wear it a lot. Always pull the stem out before storing in my jewelry box, but sometimes the battery still goes dead. I would replace, but they’re like $15 now. I would have to include that in the price. I’ve sold other watches with no issue. Hope this helps.
