Sculpted to support under the arch, the shape is also straighter than most spikes, providing more material under the midfoot and ample width under the ball of the foot. •Outsole: The Pebax plate under the forefoot is computer-designed with geometrical cut-outs that reduce weight and improve stiffness or flexibility where it’s needed to maximize propulsion and smooth the toe off. Five unobtrusive spike pins line the perimeter of the forefoot, and the plate ends just behind the ball of the foot to maximize flexibility. A thin rubber layer covers the heel and midfoot, providing durability and accommodating any footstrike. •Upper: The upper hugs the midfoot with a soft-but-supportive band that wraps around the arch and creates loops at the top to tie into the laces. Around that, a light, single-layer mesh keeps the foot cool, while seam-free overlays protect the heel and toe.
