Nike Metcon9 Men's CrossFit shoes. Small mark at back/left side of left shoe (pictured). Sticky rubber sole and instep in tact with no signs of wear. Shoe tongue features a gray velcro strap to hold laces flush to shoe, and reduce shoes coming untied mid-workout. Foam insert inside of shoe where the word "Metcon" is screen printed on the insert is peeling slightly with a letter missing in the left shoe (pictured). Great for CrossFit, strength training, weight lifting due to the low drop. Rubber instep helps with rope climbs. Per Nike: Whatever your "why" is for working out, the Metcon 9 makes it all worth it. We improved on the 8 with a larger Hyperlift plate and added rubber rope wrap. We made the Hyperlift plate in the heel even bigger for stability when tackling tough workouts like Split Squats, Dead Lifts and other lower-body exercises. The plate helps force weight down and out while adding rigidity in the heel. That firmness helps you feel grounded and supported, specifically under heavier loads. The lace-lock system attaches to the shoe tongue, so you don't have to worry about latching it to any fabric.
