This version of the Nike Fontanka Waffle features a black suede upper. Thick white-tan suede overlays round out the toe box, form the eyestays, and form the heel counter and collar. The heel collar features three small black Nike Swooshes of different sizes, while the Nike Swoosh also appears outlined in Black on each side, with jagged thread forming part of the stem. The suede tongue features yet another Nike Swoosh. The shoe sits on top of a grey rubber sole for the forefoot and a chunky sole with Nike React branding under the heel. A waffle-tread outsole completes the design. What we love most about this shoe is the chunky heel, which adds a pop of visual interest and makes the otherwise muted shoe stand out.
