@amyhelmes no, i make them. i buy the shoes then paint them, that is why they are custom items and so expensive, you are paying for the time and the paint. that is why they take up to 4 weeks. they are one of a kind since they are my design.

So how does the paint hold up with wearing and washing the shoe? The part that is painted does it crack with wear? Do you pay the whole amount upfront? Thanks

@amyhelmes it is the finest leather paint you can buy. it doesn’t crack or break and there is a protective layer of finisher to protect the paint - which the paint itself is already very sturdy. they hold up like any other shoe that isn’t painted. and yes you pay the whole amount upfront.

@amyhelmes and when washing the shoe, it’s not recommended to wash it in the washer or anything because it usually can damage the shoe, but a wipe down wouldn’t affect it. they stay very nice unless put through a lot of wear.

@amyhelmes okay i just wouldn’t recommend washing them because i haven’t and i don’t think anyone i’ve sold them to have, so i don’t know the outcome. but if you end up washing them then you should let me know how it turns out!!
