Nicole Miller vintage cactus/boots shorts, silk lounge/party L

Vibrant Southwestern cactus, boots, serape print on dark blue. Great print! Rare vintage glam Nicole Miller washable 100% silk lounge/party tie-front shorts, from the San Francisco store circa 1990. But the style is way retro to the 1920s (such as in TV series Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Frankie Drake Mysteries). No elastic, no zipper. The total wide waistband opening to slip them on is about 24” measured flat (= 48” total); the sides then each button, with a resulting waist of 17+” measured flat (= 34+” total). The extra fabric forms big pleats folding over the front; and beyond the pleats there is a front tie which allows adjustment (pictured). Hard to explain in words or photos. The length of these loose shorts in front is about 14”. The rise is about 14” from the top of the waistband to the seams intersection under, but of course this glam design would hang loose and not be snugged up. Excellent pre-owned condition, unused.
