I would be interested in buying your old worn out pair if you could list in your closet. and you can use proceeds to help pair for this replacement pair. no need to clean or mend any holes as they will be turned in for a recycling credit. let me know when you can post the old ones for sale with a couple of photos showing tops and bottom soles. thanks!
