In 2009, Christie’s auction house called this pattern “woman in the window“ but it since been called often “boy in the window“. Regardless of the name, it’s a very rare pattern from Newhall pottery in the late 16th century and early 17th century. These two pieces are in excellent condition for their age. They obviously have a few flaws, but are minor considering how old they are. Please see the pictures for how lovely these pieces truly are. Collectors of porcelain and pottery will understand. The painting is exquisite and the colors are very vibrant. You can see the use by a right handed person with some of the wear on the paint of the cup if you were holding it with your right hand. If you were interested in these items, and would like to see more pictures please let me know.
