It is strictly a fashion necklace and is made of crystals and enamel. Measurements are approximate and are pictured. The Santa pendant is 2.5in H x 1.5inL. The claw is currently on the end of the extension but it can be moved and adjusted to your preferred size. The claw features a ring that can be connected to any part of the extender. See picture.
