New, never worn Summit Series 700 Down Jacket by North Face

It is with bittersweetness that I sell this jacket. I picked it up a couple of years ago from a friend in NYC for whom it was too big. It is brand new and has all the bells and whistles for anyone who needs a jacket for sub-zero conditions. I have already confirmed every detail related to authentication and can tell you this is the real deal. It is a beautifulf garment for anyone who understands what it is to be outside for prolonged periods in alpine or arctic environments. The reason I am selling it is that my winter and high-altitude mountaineering days are behind me now. I only purchased the jacket because I could not resist it. I have now accepted the reality that I don't have a use for this jacket. If a jacket could be sexy, this jacket is sexy. I will not describe here all the pockets, drawstrings, hood, etc. because this jacket is really intended for someone who knows what they are looking for and knows that the Summit Series fits the bill. I paid close to $500 for this jacket and will not be too flexible on the price.
