New in Box Vintage Ivory Damask Tablecloth and Napkin Set - 50” x 50” - 1950s

Never used and still in its original box, this Steam-Ship Brand Cotton and Rayon Damask Set consists of a 50” square tablecloth and 4 matching napkins (12”x 12”). The 50” tablecloth is the size used for card tables. It may have been a wedding or bridal shower gift for a proper hostess to use at bridge parties or sorority soirées. Made in Japan Box measures 13.5” x 9” x 1” Never been used, but I did see one faint mark on the tablecloth - see last photo. An estate sale find from a smoke-free, but pet -friendly home.
