New in Box AKERU AMANO x MANDARIN ORIENTAL fan Condition: Fan is brand new, only taken out of box for photos; Box is a little scratched up (see photos), fan does NOT stay open and folds are a bit uneven Born in Tokyo, TAKERU AMANO studied print and design in New York, before returning to sculpture and painting. Between classicism and modern art, between might and delicateness, he likes to observe his environment to depict women, men and still-life paintings, and is mainly inspired by Japanese pop-culture. Since 2016, his works have been exhibited in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Paris.
