New THIMISTER Runway Designer, Black, Zip-Front Boots

RARE New THIMISTER Runway Designer, Black, Zip-Front Boots from BARNEYS NY Own a piece of fashion history with these beautiful, hand-crafted THIMISTER boots, by famous designer Josephus Thimister. A pair of these same boots are in the collection at the Palais Galliera, Fashion Museum of the City of Paris! They are from the designer's F/W 2011/2012 collection, and they were purchased at BARNEYS in New York City. They have never been worn and still have the original price tag on one of the soles. These boots were crafted in Italy. Large metal zippers fully unzip at center front, for entry/exit. They have grosgrain ribbon accents at the back of each shaft, that can be worn both in and outside the boot. The hand-made, leather soles and stacked heels add to their unique appearance. And the metal horseshoe heels help to extend wear. Exterior color is Black, with a tan leather interior. Size is 38, US size 7. The condition is New; however, there is one small spot at boot interior (pictured); and these shoes could use a little polish. There's a small, "dry spot" under one of the zipper plackets. The original MSRP was $2200!
