Slàinte mhath!
The word quaich is derived from the Gaelic word "cuach" which means shallow cup, or as we know it today, a drinking cup of friendship. Traditional 2-handled cup of Scotland. Great for a wedding toast!
We have these made in Scotland by the pewtersmith who produced pewter props for use in Game of Thrones™, Harry Potter™, Pirates of the Caribbean™, and other Hollywood movie productions.
This is singe piece glass quaich with attached pewter hardware and a purple, stag, thistle, and celtic decoration.
Heavy, quality piece. (Clean in warm soapy water. Not dishwasher safe.)
Measures 2.5 inches tall. Widest width 7.5 inches handle to handle. Top open diameter: 3.25 inches
We have more Irish and Scottish imports listed including pewter, woolens, leather and jewelry.
Prices are firm via Poshmark's checkout. See the last posted picture slide or our About page for details. Thanks! The Shepherd's Knot
