dms1955d @wyldegreen Hello. The dress, laying flat, measured arm pit to arm pit is approx. 23". Laying flat, the length from the back middle of the neck to the bottom is approx. 58". Because the waist is elastic and has a drawstring, you can make the top above the waist blousy and therefore shorten the length some. Thank you for your interest. Diane
