mechanical_bug I have a ring that looks exactly like this stone, color, cut, etc but mine is Rhodochrosite (sp).Do you know if that's another name for this stone? This would match my ring perfectly.

ellejayz @mechanical_bug It's my passion, also. That's why I decided to do this. I've made some connections, so if I can get good deals I can give good deals. Jewelry mark up in stores is so unfair. I'd like to make things more affordable. Some people don't understand that this isn't my personal collection & that I spend a lot of time & money choosing/purchasing & offer me less then half of the asking price. It's tough sometimes.

ellejayz (Continued) ...but I love what I'm doing anyway. Starting this has put me in debt & keeping me there, but I know it'll just take some more time. I actually quit my full time job to do this...not a smart move, but I have no regrets. :-) Elle♥

mechanical_bug @ellejayz I would love to do it but my health isn't good enough to get into it. I had to retire on disability in 2005 at 39 and it's not been easy. My hubby just had to go on disability about 5 years ago and though our kids are grown with kids of their own we are still raising my 15 year old great nephew who we've had since birth 💕 He is our heart. We have 5 grandkids too but never enough time.

mechanical_bug @ellejayz I've bought a lot over the years with plans of reselling or making jewelry but just can't part with any. Lol They are all unique and beautiful. People who don't know gems don't realize the costs. Your prices are amazing! But that won't stop me from trying to get a deal....
