poshchica1 @dinigar_000 there is no exact conversion between EU and us sizes because one uses centimeters, and other in inches. so if you are eu39, you are between 8.5/9. We would recommend 9 because there is not much difference between them. hope that helps.

acorddeb or rather not your ankle but the heel of your foot is that wider than the heel of the shoe or is a shoe heel whiter than your heel

acorddeb I need to know if the heels on these sandals go in at the footbed so that the heels are more narrow than where the sole of your foots sits at the bottom of the sandal above where the top of the heel is

poshchica1 @acorddeb We don't really understand your question. Are you asking about the top of the heel that's attached to the sole of the shoe. If yes, it's not smaller than the sole. You can see how the heel is attached to the sole in the 2nd photo.

acorddeb I know my question probably sounds stupid but the reason I ask is because I ordered a different pair similar to these. and when they came. in the heel was indented quite a bit and got alot more narrow going down from the sole of the sandal. And I couldn't wear them due to a royal knee replacement. the heel was just to narrow and I don't want to do that again

poshchica1 @acorddeb This style is part of comfort line of the shoe company, so they are designed with comfort in mind. They should not wobble or walk weird. We haven't heard from anyone that this shoe fits strange after purchase. Hope that helps.
