This is a hand painted shell pendant on a hand dyed aqua blue silk ribbon and it's beautiful. I have used glass beads and silver spacers for accent. The necklace is adjustable. Just tie the ribbon at any length you want it. The shell is painted with a ship sailing in the ocean in shades of blue, green, and brown. It's beautiful!! The length of the necklace is tied at about 20 inches now. These silk ribbons are hand painted in small batches using the finest non-toxic dyes and steam set for hours to ensure long lasting enjoyment. Steam set dyes have more vibrant colors and will not fade over time. ***Since the ribbons are hand painted (not tub dyed) the color blends are seamless with no harsh lines or dye spots. *** Care instructions: These silk ribbons can be ironed to create a more "ribbon" look versus the natural, crinkle state. To wash, simply rinse in cold water and hang dry. Do not swim or shower in them.
