I bought these in February 2020… and haven’t found myself wearing them since between WFH, moving to a different climate, being pregnant then postpartum. SO, I guess it is finally time to see them off. These are the cotton canvas Florence pant in Medium Tall that I then had altered to make the waist a bit more trim. I found the pants to run big for ES so the alteration to the waist has them fitting a bit more like a an ES medium in my opinion. Approx 11.5” unstretched waist (elastic is taught at rest but stretches to about 17.5”) & 27” inseam. Color is navy, the stock image of clay canvas is in there just to see the fit. Like new condition - they have just been in my closet! These are a discontinued ES pant in the cotton canvas so get ‘em here! Ask any questions.

aslyn_nash Hey! Is the alteration something that can be taken out? I currently have the M and love the fit, while I could use the waist smaller, I have to get it over my hips! That’s my only concern w these

bettyalexandra @aslyn_nash good question and the hips were also my concern when I had them altered (it took two tries to get the waist pinned in a spot that I could get off over my hips). I don’t believe the tailor retained the spare elastic in the waistband. I don’t recall what we agreed to, honestly, so I wouldn’t count on the elastic being there if you were to open up the waist band again now. My hip measurement is 39” and I can get these on and off, for reference.

bettyalexandra @aslyn_nash hi - you asked about this a while ago and I missed it. I don’t know if there is any extra elastic left inside the waist band to expand it back out - it definitely does require slightly more shimmy over the hips now that it has been taken in.
