the belt has 8 conchos and nice buckle made by Navajo conchos can be taken off to your fit. It was worn by me when I volunteered for the Heard Museum And I am sure it was worn before I bought I was going to change the belt was told not to.

herons1 it depends on how you want to wear it some wear it on the hips or hanging on one side . you can remove some conchos or space some conchos you would have to change the belt to do that. keep the original belt. it is 38 inches to the end of the belt 37 to the last hole. there are a lot of options you can do. if you want more info let me know

herons1 I am sending answers to your guestionsas close as i can. The belt has 8 conchos 4 inches long 3 i/2 inches wide they have a curve so it is hard to measure The buckle is 4 inches by 3 inches wide. It weighs 1.6# it is not stamped as I remember it is Kingman tourquise in the Taos Santa Fe Chimio area. Let me know what you are thinking because we are thinking of removing it to a different place to selling it. I hope this helps i want someone to enjoy it like i did. hope to hear soon.
