Barnacles are wonderful crustaceans that inhabit all salt waters of the world! Barnacles are found everywhere along the seashore, as they attach to any solid surface that gets covered by water, such as boats, pilings, and rocks. The barnacles can be either rough or smooth, and they are sometimes slightly folded. The basal margin of the shell is either straight or slightly sinuous. The color is a pale shade of reddish or bluish purple, sometimes streaked longitudinally with a darker or lighter shade and sometimes with transverse bands of color. Can use in an aquarium, terrarium, or as a decorative accent in your home. Approx 5x5x4 and 5 oz Majority of our items are antique or vintage and by definition, pre-owned.
