Glad to know now after reading this that although a gem may be "man-made" or "lab created" it still is most definitely real & possibly of even better quality than natural. 💍💎

oneinamillionjj @octavius_c Thank you. I didn't know until I found (and copied) this article that lab created stones were still considered to be "the real thing". I'm almost positive many others don't as well cuz so often I'm asked " is the stone real or lab created " & as soon as I say lab ... I don't hear anything else & they don't buy either. So I'm hoping this will help educate & drive sales, not only for me .. But other jewelry sellers as well. Jillian

palmaceiamerch @oneinamillionjj Very helpful indeed. I notice this all the time in the comments section being asked with no reply after getting the answer. I snag up moissanite stone's to set in rings. It's extremely important to me I do not contribute to suffering to mine a stone I wear. An a diamond store that claims conflict free are never able to prove this.

oneinamillionjj @adriane_p Thanks! Now I know at least 3 ppl have read this lol. No I'm sure a few more have but you're right. I wonder if the ppl who ask is it real & then are MIA when they hear lab created have even thought about how many long hrs, under pay & possibly even death it cost to produce/locate the stones in the jewelry they wear or own? Very little I'm assuming & yet I'm still asked at least once/wk (even though I note in my listing if it's natural or lab created) Is it real? Thanks for the msg ✌

oneinamillionjj @emilydaehtop Thank you! I'm learning more as I accumulate items to sell too bcuz I don't always just copy descriptions .. I like to understand what I'm copying/pasting so Google search alot. And it's funny bcuz so many want sterling silver & turn up their nose to stainless steel when really the steel looks exactly the same if not better, has less maintenance /upkeep, will last longer & is quite a bit cheaper! 😉

oneinamillionjj @peeshy101 You're welcome. Yes especially now, the lighter carbon footprint is a super good thing. Stop depleting some of the non renewable resources. I like being able to point out that just bcuz it's lab created doesn't mean it's fake bcuz I always had thought that it was .. so I'm sure there are many others in the same boat.

calidreamin101 @oneinamillionjj I was def unsure myself and wasn't as confident about it. I have a butterfly pendant listing with lab created opal, its gorgeous and detailed $45. Now I feel great about it. If I feel bad for animals I have to be concerned for unethical mining. After this I actually saw a listing saying the opposite, and lab= fake hehe but this is science not opinion so gonna go with that hehe

oneinamillionjj @peeshy101 Oh yeah, I did my research for this & screenshot vs copy & paste so I know its 100% accurate. Plus it makes sense if labs use exact techniques to create gems as would happen in nature that you get the same product, but quicker. Its like making Mac n cheese in the microwave or on the stove. Same product, 1 is just quicker. lol

oneinamillionjj @peeshy101 What the person prob meant, but got it confused as I had before looking into it as well - A simulated gemstone looks similar but its created differently therefore a fake gem. A lab create isn't a natural (nature made) stone, but its still a genuine stone as it has all the same chemical make up as the natural it was just handmade (well lab made) instead. I'd be confident in your piece. 😊

I never imagined burger fast food having plant based burgers and here they are 🎉🥳🎊 You explain it very well. Maybe I can use ur sign till I learn to do custom words of my own? ty

I would love to be able to sell a lot more clothing but I just don't have the room in an apartment. I've got 5 shelving units around my living room/dining area each with 6 of those cloth cubby boxes & that's how I go about organizing, keeping out of my daughter's hands & hiding from the world! lol They work really well

I watch empty hanger on YouTube sometimes, she has a house in like uh half my LR and same part of kitchen🤭 I bought some gorgeous semi-sweet curtain panels w/ vintage solid flower/circle_embossed pattern. I got IKEA wire divider to hang from ceiling and my 1st tiny power drill to screw them in. I get to end, U need a wire cutter 😂🤣😅😭😭😭 dang.

Its next step investment. til then, all stacked in 1/4 of LR AND I get the "hiding" aspect I have a 23 yr old autistic girlie she loves jewelry & toys, and a klepto poodle 😭😅🤣😂🤭🤪🐩🐩 so I try to keep some out for her to "discover" throw her off the scent haha

oneinamillionjj @meme2626 Hello sry for my delay. Yes u can use the sign if you'd like. And you're right .. many ppl move on as soon as they read lab created bcuz they're uneducated on the subject. Same with stainless steel. I try to only stock sterling or stainless steel bcuz that's what I'd prefer to wear & 1/2 of my stuff sits while ppl are buying out someone else's alloy or plated base metal stuff of the same design! Drives me nuts lol :)
