Natural Alexandrite Necklace in 18k White Gold

This work of art, a custom piece inspired by contemporary French geometric sculpture, was purchased on the Luxurious Magnificent Mile in Chicago about 8 years ago. Cherished as a gift and one of the prizes of my collection, it's never actually been worn. I'm saddened to let this piece go, but I had to admit to myself that with a wedding coming up, and never having actually worn this piece, it might be time to let it go. I want it to go to someone who will cherish it and understand its value. Set in 18k White gold, the 0.38 carat Alexandrite round is considered collector quality. Completely transparent with no inclusions and the coveted clean color transition from bright Blue Green to Intense Purple, it has a 94% color change with heavy, rich color on both ends of the spectrum. Incredible sparkle, and of the quality and type that only increase in value over time. The diamonds are G-H color, VS1 Clarity, and a 0.52 carat weight.
