Native handmade cross choker

This was acquired in a box of Navajo jewelry that could be authenticated, but there are no markings on this piece. It's a choker, the pendant is white leather with hand done beading and is 2 1/2" across. I'd guess it to be made in the 70s based on the leather. It's beautiful and because I can't authenticate it, I'm listing it at a great price.
