Native American 1950 Zuni Bird Necklace Sterling laid Turquoise & Carnelian

A Native American Zuni necklace. A beautiful vintage tribal piece, created in Arizona by the Zuni Native American culture, back in the 1950. This unusual necklace was entirely crafted in solid .935/.999 sterling silver and fitted with a hook security lock. The design is composed by hammered elements connected by the traditional beaded chain. The drop part with the birds, rotate in their axis, Turquoises: One side is embellished with inlaid of natural green turquoise from the Arizona region.  Carnelian: The other side is embellished with inlaid of natural orange carnelian from the Arizona region.  Weight: 94.45 grams (60.55 Dwt). Length: 24 inches long (60.96 cm). Measurements: The main drop piece in the center have a diameter of 68 mm by 67 mm (2.75 x 2.64 Inches) Note: This piece is pretty large, with an outstanding look and great eye appeal.  Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box. Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent vintage. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the sterling. The turquoises are secured in the settings.
