Nate Miller Photography, Bloodroot White Flower Botanical Art 11x14 Matted Photo
Beautiful art photography by Nate Miller. This is an original signed, dated (2004) and titled photograph in a white mat measuring 11 by 14 inches. Lovely gift for a gardener, florist, botanist, etc! The photograph itself is in excellent condition. The mat does have a few brown age spots on the back (see photos) but none on the front that I can see. The mat can be easily replaced if you wish to do so.
This photo shows two closed flowers (they close at night) of the Bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadensis). It was named Bloodroot because of the red juice from the underground stem which was used by Native Americans as a dye for baskets, clothing, and war paint.
Nate Miller is a professional nature photographer based in North Carolina. He enjoys photographing flowers in the North Carolina mountains.
