crystalblue16 Hello, I am very familiar with most of Dooney & Bourke's leather. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the Wexford smooth leather. Is this like the Florentine or does it have a coating on the leather? Thank you.

casualflare @crystalblue16 Hi, It’s smooth leather. It’s somewhat similar to Florentine in that it will patina with age and will darken temporarily if it gets wet, but smooth leather shows less imperfections than Florentine.

crystalblue16 Very interesting. So between the Midnight Blue and the Natural, which is smoother leather. (The reason I am asking is I do not like pebbled leather - unless of course I am buying pebbled leather. I understand leather is all different, but my Florentine leather bags are all hand selected because I like them smooth. ) Also, is the natural color in the Wexford leather the same color as the natural in the Florentine? Thank you so much.

casualflare @crystalblue16 The Natural and Midnight are both Wexford and both smooth. It’s difficult to compare Natural to a Florentine as they are 2 different leathers. I think the Wexford is a tiny bit darker, but again, it’s difficult to say, since each Florentine has a different tone
