@mamadealden Hi - it's a true outerwear jacket. It's a thick-ish, windblocking shell, lined with thin fleece. I am going to add a photo of one the tags on it that has some description.
The hood is pretty large/deep but not sure if it would quite fit a ski helmet (mine is at my parents house otherwise I'd try it out for you!).

@cavazquez1 it does have more a “women’s” fit than a unisex coat (meaning the waist is most accentuated and not just a straight box!)
