NWT Vintage Rockabilly Shell Necklaces

A wonderful find, here are two shinning necklaces in the classic midcentury fashion. Each features iridescent shinning trochus shells dyed either coral or blue, your choice, and finishing with a classic mcm slide clasp. Get your retro vibes on - wear them to the beach, a night out (oh how they glow!) or as cruise wear. Length 17” choker style Imbued with colors of blue, purple, green, and silver // coral, orange, pink and gold, respectively. 🌺This listing is for ONE necklace! Just choose the color that resonates with you! Sequined Indian wedding shawl is available, but the woven paisley Bradley Mischa wrap is not yet listed. Metal content unknown, makers origin unknown, shells hail from the shores of Indonesia. Probably not Hawaiian made, or Hong Kong, or Tasmanian Aboriginal, for that matter. Sold by H.C. Capwell Company, out of Oakland California. MCM 1950’s True Vintage, NOS (new old stock), NWT, in excellent vintage condition with only the patina of years in storage, nothing more. The tag is missing from the coral and the clasp shows the barest hint of patina- perhaps this one was worn a time or two? Hard to say what stories these carry with them, but they remain beautiful and ready for their next caretaker. Stored in a smoke free home, will be sent with great care.
