J Crew Circa 2007, The Versailles Dress was touted as a collector's item immediately upon its long-awaited launch in the Spring of 2007. Released as Limited Edition, the dress sold out in days and was never re-issued. For the past 18 years buyers have flooded the net in search of the dress as it's become a collector's item and near impossible to find. Fashioned after the classic 1950s French Toile Country Dresses.
