Side zip all the way the leg. 2 different snaps at leg bottom for different fits. Zippered side & back pockets. These were an Amazon return. You may find small dirt spots if you look hard enough but nothing that stood out to me. I also have the size Medium jacket that matches in my closet. Bundle up if you want the set.
