kslcrn @queeneed Bias cut refers to the fabric being cut across the grain as opposed to with the grain, which results in a shape that clings to the body and has a lot of give to it. Straight-cut dresses will only give as much the fabric allows. So a bias-cut dress is more likely to fit, and flatter, a range of sizes.
