Robert Lee Morris Soho Double Drop Earrings in orange & green patina These earrings feature a gold-toned hoop from which two circular discs are suspended: a smaller orange disc layered on top of a larger green patinaed disc. Robert Lee Morris is known as the "father of designer jewelry" and his SoHo gallery, Artwear (1977-1994), was groundbreaking in how jewelry was perceived and merchandised. Morris's designs often emphasized sculptural forms and are considered wearable art. These are particularly striking as they have a wonderfully handcrafted, modern look. Drop is about 1.5" from top of hoop. Largest disk measures about 1" X 1". They also offered a second version that had a hot pink disc instead of the orange one.
