Does this size 4 fit more like a small or medium?? I’m typically a 2 in dresses but I wasn’t sure how this one ran?

@tgroce22 I found that it runs a bit smaller and since it’s formal wear, it runs tighter. But it always depends on the fit you’re looking for

@priscillacheng I’d like a more form fitting look for sure. I saw on the tag this was a petite maxi is the length shorter? I only ask because I’m 5’6” and I’m looking for a full floor length maxi.

@tgroce22 it is 41 inches from waist to hem.
In regards to the dress being form fitting - it really depends on the body type. I found that it fell differently on my body than in the photos with the model. It was footed around my chest , a bit loose in the mid section and then tight again around my hips. So just looked a bit awkward on me but I’ve seen it on other girls and it’s beautiful. I tried it on 1x but deleted all my photos - sorry I can’t send along pics!

@priscillacheng this is helpful thank you!! I feel like if anything it might be a little big but I could potentially get it altered. This is for a bridesmaids dress for my best friends wedding so I’m just trying to make sure it’s perfect but I love this dress!

@priscillacheng so sorry last question, just for reference how tall are you? I’m trying to make sure the dress isn’t too short for me I just have no idea if 41” from waist to hem is for a certain height or not. I’m 5’6” for reference!

@tgroce22 I am 5’2. I remember having to wear 2 inch heels since it was still long. I recommend you order a sample from revelry for free to try on because they do allow that for free. Then you can come back and let me know. They don’t ship petites but you can try the regular length on. Also the dress skims the hip verse being hip hugger.
