johnhjeffries @theluxelife7 Hello again ... I'm trying to justify buying this vest even though I wear XXL in Peter Millar vests, LOL. Can you do me a favor, please? Will you lay the vest out flat, zipped and buttoned-up, and measure across the chest (just immediately under the arm-hole openings)? It should be somewhere around 24 to 25 1/2 inches, straight across. I truly appreciate you doing that if you will.

theluxelife7 @johnhjeffries Got home earlier than anticipated. The vest when buttoned measures exactly 24 “ from side seam to side seam right under the arm hole.

johnhjeffries @theluxelife7 thanks very much for doing that. Unfortunately, it's just going to be too tight for me. I have two of the same model vests that are XXL and they measure 26 1/2 side seam to side seam. And, they fit perfectly ... I'm a little skeptical on the XL. But, thank you again for your willingness to measure it ... as you said, it is a great vest and I've been looking for the Olive color in XXL for a while now. Thanks again!!!
