This bag is very well made and sturdy. Tassels come together at the top of the clutch when fully zipped and closed. To open, tassels are pulled to the side by their individual zippers. The front of this clutch has an additional zippered compartment. The front and back are both black and white but with different patterns. Each Mercado Global collection starts with a journey to the highlands of Guatemala where talented indigenous women artisans use two traditional weaving methods passed down from generation after generation dating back over 2,000 years ago to the Mayans according to the company, which is a nonprofit.
