Hi, how light are the lenses at their lightest/indoors? Can you clearly see your eyes through them or are they fairly dark at baseline? Thank you!

@leelaxr They’re not incredibly dark, I mean… they are sunglasses but I have standard Ray-Ban Wayfarers that are definitely darker than these. I feel like the polarized lenses add most of the UV protection rather than them just being dark ya know. And as far as your question about indoors. It’s hard to say, whether your eyes are visible or not is going to be relative to how much light is in the room.

Hi, I was just asking because these are photochromic lenses - I wanted to know how dark they would be in low-light conditions. Have another pair of pink photochromic oliver peoples that are a very light wash pink at baseline, and darken to a mid tone. The UV protection comes from the lens coating and/or material actually - doesn't matter if they're polarized, but thanks for getting back to me!

@leelaxr Oh yeah, I see what you’re saying. I’ve never worn them so I wouldn’t know exactly what they darken to. The stock photo from the website in this listing is about how they look normally, like “fresh out of the case normally” so I would imagine they get darker if you’re saying that’s how they work.
