@aprils2ndcloset I use to do that when I personally modeled everything but now I'm in the studio so it's convenient for me for the most part to do my pictures there. I do miss natural lighting & playing with shade & different times of day & the lighting from it. I should model this but now I've put on weight so I've become camera shy & wont. 😖😖

@jessica10908 Well, you look amazing, so I wouldn't have guessed that! It'll probably be a really good idea to get at least one photo of this amazing dress in natural light. By the way, to brighten the background & sharpen the colors of items in our photo studio we added a lot of additional white light that hits behind the target item. YouTube has some great videos that explain this technique. 💕

@aprils2ndcloset white lights behind the item... I think I am doing that already. I've had to teach myself mostly. I had some input from where I work a long while back about lighting. I have my seamless backdrop then I have 2 main lights (white lights) on each side shinning on the back drop then a key light to face in the mannequin in front or facing the backdrop - which I can also control how bright it is (can do that w/the side lights too). Is that what u mean?

@jessica10908 2 side lights were not enough for our studio. 😱 We had to go up to 2 on each side to really flood the background with white light.

@aprils2ndcloset I have 2 on each side too. Each light has 4 bulbs in it and sometimes I think I may actually need more lighting. I also use black & white V-cards I made to help box in the light & depending on the color of the item I'll either use the black or white sides or if it's a multicolored item one of each & I use a white board as the "floor" of my back drop (basically a huge dry erase board).

@aprils2ndcloset I will try to remember to send u some pictures of my studio this week. I think if I can learn to use this new cannon rebel camera I bought it would make a huge difference personally.
