zhivagosmom Thank you for your interest in the dress. I'm sorry that it took some time for me to respond, but I couldn't locate the dress as it fell off the the hanger in the closet (thus explaining the new wrinkles-- I'll lightly steam it before sending it out. It's still in perfect condition, brand new with tag). Approximate length of the opening in the front is 34-35", although it depends upon how low or high you set the straps. The length in back is 56" Please let me know if you have questions.
