NWT Garnet Hill German Cotton Fleece Blanket (100% Cotton, Celestial Blue)

This unique blanket is made of 100% cotton, yet has a fleece-like plushness. It's made in Germany, exclusively for the company Garnet Hill. Garnet Hill calls it a "natural fleece." The material is certified OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, meaning it's tested to be free of harmful substances. It is both breathable and moisture-wicking. It's made by spinning, weaving, and dying cotton yarns, then running them through napping machines where large rollers with thousands of tiny needles gently open up the fabric on both sides in a process called raising. The top layer on both sides is then carefully sheared to create a consistent, matte-like finish. The blanket is machine-washable. Since it will shrink after washing, the blanket is cut large so that once it shrinks it will still fit the intended size bed. This blanket is twin size, which Garnet Hill says is 65 x 85 inches. The color is a medium blue called "Celestial Blue". It is completely NWT, and is still in its original packaging, which is a sealed plastic bag. It was purchased directly from Garnet Hill. It retails for $149.
