It does button up the front. On the chest are two pockets. I do not see any flaws with the shirt besides a small bundle of threads on the front. It blends in well but is there. Please review all pictures and ask any questions you may have. Armpit to armpit is about 26 inches and pulls to a max of about 28 inches. At the max, it might be tighter on and make the buttons gap some. Length from armpit to hem is about 17 inches. Length from the top of the shoulder to the hem is about 32.25 inches.
